THE ADVENTURES OF SIGI -MOVING DAY is the first in a series of picture books about a real dog and his interaction with the world around him. Using rhyme and repetition Sigi relates his adventures, which are not unlike those of many children. In Book One, "Moving Day," Sigi moves to Florida. He goes exploring in the backyard while others unpack and meets wand reacts with the local animals in a variety of situations. He is scratched by a grouchy cat, calmed by a friendly Monarch butterfly and helps a lost Sandhill chick. When he is called home, he finds his toys unpacked and decides that it was a splendid day.

À propos de l'auteur

Candace Carson was born in America, spent many years growing up in Europe and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. She has bachelors degrees in Psychology and Fine Arts and a Masters degree in Fine Arts. She is the recipient of two National Endowments for the Arts Fellowships and a SECCA Fellowship.The Adventures of Sigi series of children's picture books began in 2008 and the Wee LuLu series began in 2010.
