In the beginning, I don't have any big expectations and I don't have urge to continuously read it as I take my time to read whenever I feel like it. But, as story progress, it becomes more and more interesting. Now, I have some expectations for the next volume. PS: when I read the Small Adventure story, I am also worried for Ange.

An absolute joy to read, gave me dad vibes as a single parent myself to two daughters and a son. to interweave between the views points from the daughter and father keeps the reader engaged throughout the tale. A feel good tale of a loving daughter and the wishful memories of an aged adventurer seeking a purpose of meaning.

This book was perfect for me. love me a good fantasy novel, but also some good slice if life as well! you could read this book as a one of if you want too since the book sets up a clear goal. But after reading it, I want to know more about the everyday life of these wonderful characters.
