About the author

Mary Alice Hollo Earl was born in a small town of Ohio in 1930. She was raised in Toledo and has lived there for the past 83 years. She wrote her first manuscript back in 1978, with the intentions and determination of publishing it. However, times were hard and she was unable to fulfill her dream of becoming an author, until 35 years later. Mary has proudly published her first book of poetry in 2013 at the age of eighty-three. A mother, grandma, wife, piano player and inspired author are just a few roles that Mary portrays each day. She has been a spiritual inspiration to many people and continues to make a difference in those lives around her. Her gifted talent for poetry and her love for making music has been her form of self-expression. So, publishing this book of poetry was her chance to leave a mark on the world. It’s a chance to bring family and friends together to share the important messages and memories of her life, love, and her deep faith in God.
