About this eBook

Would you like to know the truth about Albert Einstein from a friend who really knew him? Much of what is reported by some historians about his life is consistent with his personal writings, but much is conjecture based on people who never knew him, and they simply made up whatever the writers thought he must be like. After nearly two years of personal conversation directly with Einstein, I have tried to recall specific things about him which may be of interest to you. He needs to be remembered for the truth about his contributions to the whole world. He was indeed a rare bird.

It's funny during your life how you have brief encounters with people but have no idea what experiences make them who they are. I have had brief encounters and interacted with Stanley and his wife Joan on somewhat random Wednesday and Thursday afternoons over the last 5 or 6 years. I have always enjoyed seeing their happy smiling faces and looked forward to hearing Stanley's silly jokes. I was always impressed with his obvious love of life and love of his wife and always looked forward to seeing them for the brief passing moments we shared. It was not until this past Wednesday that I had a little time alone with Stanley where he gave me some insight to who he was and his life experiences including the personal time he spent with Einstein for two of his years when he was in college. I was fascinated and when he mentioned that he had written this book I knew I had to read it. I am so glad I did. Not only did it give an understanding of the inner thoughts of Einstein and characteristics of a genius we have heard about all our lives but for me it also gave me an understanding of a man that I have known for years in passing but had no idea of his incredible life experiences. I think we all have a story to tell, all have a book to write, and all have people who pass by us who would help make us better people if we had the chance to know them and hear their story. This book is a very easy and interesting read. For me it has already made me a better person after having read it and has made me relook and my life in a different way a new way of looking at things. I look forward to seeing Stanley and Joan on the next upcoming encounter and will hopefully have the chance to ask some questions that reading this book a stimulated.
