About the author

“Nivraz” is my pseudo-name as in the a.k.a. of me. It is actually “Arvin,” my first name when reversed. What’s with the “z” is actually another story. But for purposes of why there is a “z” in my a.k.a. is simply based in our alphabet where “z” is the last letter and as to my name, it is exactly what I wanted to be. Letter Z is also the numerical equivalent of number 8, the Chinese proverb says 8 is the luckiest number which sounds like (fa), which means “wealth”, “fortune”, and “prosperity”. While the Chinese will go to great lengths to avoid number 4 (unlucky) in their daily lives, they will try to incorporate 8 wherever they can. And that’s the short story of “z” in me.

My name is Arvin Dee Nolasco-Paglinawan, a.k.a. “Nivraz”. Currently, most of my time is devoted to organic farming, making sense with green and the living, working for micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs), to rural community, groups, and individuals as my social work ministry, do business consultancy, coaching, counseling and responding to the call for sustainable development.
