About this eBook

Commissioned in 1975 by Thomas Nelson Publishers, 130 respected Bible scholars, church leaders, and lay Christians worked for seven years to create a completely modern edition of the King James Version that would continue the classic tradition of the original King James. With unyielding faithfulness to the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic texts, the translators applied the most recent research in archaeology, linguistics, and textual studies. I also agree that the scripture should never be charged for. However it is not the word that carry's a price you can get a free bible from your church. You are paying for this person's hard work in bringing it to you in a digital fashion with tools to help you effectively use it and how do we know the proceeds will not be given to charity or help this person provide for they're people so they can afford to take time to make it even better than it already is.

Indexing is broken. There's no way to type or select a chapter and go to it, or even go to a particular book. The index points seem to be arbitrary points chosen every x pages, with titles like "Matthew 4" followed immediately by Galatians 2, with nothing in between. Google handled my refund nicely. :-) Hoping for a better implementation of the NKJV soon! Until then I'll keep using a free app that licenses the text and is much more easily searchable.

This is installed on my Galaxy Note 2 and loading takes so long for this book to be of any use in a worship service or bible study where you need to jump through different scriptures. Plus whoever designed the table of contents needs another line of job. I want a refund.
