I was excited to read this from the blurb, but while I did enjoy it I think I was waiting for a little more, but please do not think that I didn't I did I guess I just wanted a little more..I love Charlotte she was fun and I liked her with Avery even though sometimes he needed to take that stick up his butt. All it was a cute book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the second book the Play series by Piper Lawson and I really enjoyed this story as much as the first. This is a enemies to lovers’ set in the office and is such a great read. You first met Charlie and Avery in Play and it was nice for them to have their own story. Everything about this story was wonderful. The characters, the story, twist and turns, and the heat. The heat between Charlie and Avery was enough to burn my Kindle. You won’t be disappointed in picking up this story. I can’t wait to read what is coming up next in this series and more. Don't worry, there's still a bit of sexy office shenanigans. But fortunately these characters have alot more 3D presence than that. It was really enjoying watching our couple go from torturing each other to finding their way to HEA. Not so much backstory as to bog things down. Few ""missing word" style typos here and there but not so bad that you can't read past it. All in all, worth the investment in time to read it.
