The only thing I liked about this book was the illustrations as drawn as well as the fact that the cat kept failing tests because he couldn't stay awake in class. The story itself was awkward. I know it was a coming of age and out of closet story. But it was incredibly awkward and often uncomfortable. I've seen similar stories told with similar themes that I liked better. I guess it just wasn't for me.
