The Haruhi Suzumiya manga series is a hilarious rumpus of a story about seeking the extraordinary and not being satisfied with the boring routine of normal every day life. Haruhi is seeking Aliens, Time travelers, and Espers. She gathers them around her but is unaware of it. Kyon is the only "normal" person in the group. Apparently Haruhi has God-like powers herself but is unaware of it. Great premise for a manga series!

Love the first volume, but the cover is wrong. Could can someone fix that?

Nagaru Tanigawa is a Japanese author best known for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya for which he won the grand prize at the eighth annual Sneaker Awards. Tanigawa is currently working on the tenth novel about Haruhi Suzumiya and the S.O.S. Brigade.
