Oh my gosh. Nore and Joaquin are dealing with such dysfunctional family dynamics, I’m amazed that they’ve both turned out as sensible as they are. It was easy to see how all-consuming the chemistry between them was and I spent most of this book just hoping for the best outcome for them. Both just want to be seen and loved for themselves, not what they can do for someone else. I think they’ve found that in each other. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It is amazing how one person can do so much damage but he is taken care of in a way in the end. Nore and Joaquin meet at his birthday part and hit it off. Despite lies caused by an outsider, they manage in the end to be a couple in love. I like how each supported and fought for the other. The broach was a nice touch.
