His research interests include medicinal chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, transition metal-catalyzed reactions, and radical chemistry. He is author of Name Reactions: A Collection of Detailed Reaction Mechanisms, and coauthor of Palladium in Heterocyclic Chemistry and Contemporary Drug Synthesis, also published by Wiley.
