About this ebook

Dive into this enemies to lovers, fake fiancé, sports romance!

Money, power, prestige…trouble

Forget prodigal son, forget black sheep. I’ve been the screw-up of my family for as long as I can remember… and the NFL draft agrees.

Most of the Coulter family would just as soon disown me for my bad boy, womanizing ways.

With my career hanging on by a thread and the team’s standing not much better, I’d rather be doing anything but babysitting my best friend’s little sister--or her attitude.

Asha is my exact opposite: a rule-following, driven team player. Unfortunately, management also thinks she’s the one who can keep me in line. But how can I get myself together when all I can focus on are her mile-long legs and perfect curves?

Maybe she can turn this bad boy into a good man… but not until we break a few of her rules.

Dax and Asha had something in common. Both feeling as though they are constantly seeking approval and acceptance from their families. They are also trying to keep their intense attraction at bay. Asha can see beneath Dax's bad boy personality. Dax discovers that maybe their is more to life than the one he has been leading. Asha strives to prove herself in her career. Dax develops a new twist to his career. This book started out a little slow, but as it moved forward, it became much more engaging. It was interesting to see how their relationships developed with each other and the family. I would recommend this sweet, sexy, romance novel. I voluntarily read and reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy.

Enjoyed this addition to the series. Dax is insecure about being able to meet the expectation of his family name & the history of their successful sports careers. He's trying to be his own man, having a little "fun" is more important than maintaining the integrity of the family name. Asha is very independent, very smart and career-driven. Both try to resist the "forbidden" connection they have though. Dax & Asha make a great couple, both mature as they deal with their issues as a couple and discover what's more important to them regardless of family matters. It was great to hear from Bryce & Tammy, there's seems to be a mystery stirring about their father though.

A sports romance, there was tension, competitiveness and family pressure. Dax is a player, but under his bad boy image he is really a very likeable character, who has the whole weight of his sporting family breathing down his neck to perform. Asha is appointed as his PR manager and because the team is doing badly, her assignment is to "babysit" him, and ensure that he presents the best possible public image. Sparks fly, but the situation is further complicated by the fact that Asha is the sister of his best friend. As Dax's performance improves, he and Asha become more open with one another until their attraction becomes unavoidable. I enjoyed the interaction between Dax and Asha, however I thought he really had the family from hell! Apart from Asha's brother, her family isn't much better. When parents and grandparents live their ambitions through the younger generation, it leads to all sorts of undesirable behaviour. I enjoyed the love story, however did not understand the sports aspect of the book as I am unfamiliar with the game due to the fact that I live outside of the USA. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
