About the author

 Gloria’s story came to me after reading an article stating that one of the African countries had only recently passed a law forbidding Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (A practice found in 29 countries in Africa and the Middle East.) 

Please don’t generalize and think that all African women undergo FGM, because it’s not true. And yet horrifically, in this day and age it still happens. The good news is that things are changing. 

The heroine, Gloria, underwent the traumatic experience as a child and it has affected her adult life to the point where she avoids intimacy. And yet the woman remained strong in every other aspect of her life. 

Who better to pair Gloria with than a man who challenges her on every level and is lip smacking delicious. Of course has one issue, but I’ll let you find out what it is. I hope you enjoy the evolving romance and the characters’ growth as much as I did.
