I so needed this book. Nancy does it again, calling our attention to our identity in Christ, as His image bearers, and calling us to invest our time and energy in His kingdom that lasts. I suffered for over a year, yet again, with an identity crisis I found myself, at age 52, moving across the US, leaving my 4 adult children and wonderful church family behind.I know the feeling of utter grief and "not knowing who I am". I know this is false, but I need to be reminded, each day, that my identity is in Christ. Nancy's book does just that. I am really working on my perspective, but it's good to have affirmation that we all can relate to this in some way. Whether it's empty nesting, childlessness , homelessness, singleness, or unmet career goals, we are not to identify ourselves as any of those, but with Christ alone...heirs of the hope of the Kingdom. Thank you once again, for helping me fix my eyes on Him.
