The second book of Holder and Debbie is mind-blowing. Though i'm only half-way through it, i'm in love with it! The vampire have come out of hiding and stepped into the light (so to speak). Gradually, countries surrender to the awful powers, calling it a truce. But it's a defeat. As far as i've gone, the adventure of the hunters continue as they embark to Russia to help a Resistance cell suffering under the pwers of a vampair named Dantalion. Who does he work for? What is he doing? Where are the other cells? Many questions are answered in this book...including the limit of Antonio de la Cruz, the "holy vampire's" love for Jenn Leitner. i've finiahed it- and it's awesome. Up to Debbie and Holder! i encourage that they finish Vanquished. i'm diening to know whether Aurora, a vampire queen menance, will carry out her scheming plot (i won't share my assumptions). the love between woman and vampire has never been so ground-breaking!
