A thrilling end to a brilliant dark, mafia love story, definitely up there with the very best by this author. I loved it, it hooked me in and I devoured it from start to finish. I Thee Take carries straight on from that killer of a cliffhanger ending in With This Ring, (which must be read first). It was fast paced, action packed, raw and brutal at times, but unputdownable. There was angst, suspense, secrets, lies, intrigue, twists and turns. Who could really be trusted? It kept me on tenterhooks all the way through. This author doesn't hold back on the depth and detail of the violent side of the mafia world and there are a few difficult subjects including human trafficking, so beware if you have triggers. This is a dark romance. Cristiano is dark, dangerous, lethal and out for revenge. He runs on the dark side and walks that knife edge of good versus bad. He's done a lot of bad things in the name of revenge but he has a moral compass and some lines he will not cross which is his redemption. I loved him, he might even rival my love for another of Natasha's antiheroes, Stefan.....I can claim both right?? đ I loved Scarlett too, what a feisty, strong character, even when her back was literally against the wall she didnt break, despite her heartbreaking past. She was the perfect match for Cristiano and their chemistry was fiery, steamy and thigh clenchingly hot! In summary, a perfect conclusion to a brilliant duet. I really hope there will be more, I want Dante's story, it's definitely been left open for what I'm sure will be a heart wrenching, explosive follow up. Keeping every crossed!

I THEE TAKE is the second instalment in Natasha Knightâs contemporary, adult TO HAVE TO TO HOLD dark, erotic Mafia romance series focusing on on twenty-two year old, Scarlett De La Cruz, and twenty-seven year old,Cristiano Grigori, one of the few surviving members of the Grigori crime family. I THEE TAKE should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book one WITH THIS RING. SOME BACKGROUND: Scarlett De La Cruz is payment for a debt, and her life is forfeited to Cristiano Grigori. Becoming Cristianoâs bride meant our heroine was now under the control of the Grigori family but all is not well in the Grigori family dynamic. WARNING: I THEE TAKE contains graphic scenes of violence, abuse, rape, human trafficking and numerous triggers that may not be suitable for more sensitive readers. Told from dual first person perspectives (Cristiano and Scarlett) I THEE TAKE picks up immediately after the events of book one WITH THIS RING in which Cristiano Grigori has been betrayed by someone from within the family, and the woman with whom he will fall in love is the ultimate target of pain and revenge. Cristiano lost most of his family years before but he begins to question the loyalty of the remaining few, and in this the safety of Scarlett is his primary goal leaving our âanti-heroâ exposed and fighting for his life. As Scarlett comes to terms with the inevitability of her own life, our heroine discovers that she is the ultimate prize in a game of revenge and payback against the man she now loves. Most of the previous story line characters return including Cristianoâs brother Dante, and their uncle David; Italian Mafia head Marcus Rinaldi; attorney Charlie Lombardi; Mafia soldier Alec; house manager Lenore; and Scarlettâs younger brother Noah. Like the first instalment, I THEE TAKE is a dark, intense, gritty and dramatic story of betrayal and revenge, power and control, love, loss, revelations and love. Natasha Knight pulls the reader into a nightmare of danger, deceit and deception; force, dominance, and ascendancy; of redemption, retribution, honor and love. I THEE TAKE ends on a happily ever after-for now but the author leaves many open ended plot lines that are most likely to be addressed in future story lines.

Here... take my heart ⤠or what's left of it I thought book one stole my breath Knight outdid herself with I Thee Take I swear for the final 10 or so chapters my jaw was clenched My shoulders were hunched trying to curl into myself - to hide from the horrors I had a death grip on my kindle The blows kept coming One after another Betrayal after Betrayal And for what? Hold on Fury - Fight - Fight with everything you have Dante - please pull your head out of your southern area! Think! Noah - I look forward to your story And Cristiano - You, my bull-headed single-minded neanderthal are running out of lives! You know the truth - stop ignoring it! Note to those of you who crawled back into the woodwork thinking this was over - He is coming for you My suggestion? Take the pill before he finds you What a way to bring this couple full circle The chest squeezing moments of loss The edge of your seat suspense The pulse-pounding twists This is a dark mafia romance whose characters will stay with you long, long after you close the pages
