This third and final installment in the The Society Trilogy picks up right where Reparation of Sin left off. These are absolutely not standalones so I recommend you read the first two before diving into this one. I had been anxiously awaiting this third and final book as we had been left in quite the cliffhanger, and this started right off dropping us into that tense situation. This installment felt almost epic in many ways. There is a lot that happens here, with the story, with the characters and I definitely wasn't disappointed. One of the things that defines the books I tend to enjoy the most, is character growth. When you can see through their thoughts and actions that they've been able to grow, change and make realizations or transformations through whatever journey they've taken with the other characters or the trials they've faced along the way. You definitely have that here and it's what really makes this series such a great read for me. I loved how much depth you get with Ivy and most especially with Santiago. Highly recommend this series if you like dark, twisted, emotional and angsty reads. This book has all the feels! I was given an Advanced Review Copy and have voluntarily left an honest review.

Resurrection of the Heart is the third and final book of the series/trilogy and god what an ending it is. This book still kept us guessing till the very end of it. Santiago is still a hard man throughout and doesn't want to love anyone including Ivy. Santiago will continue to surprise us in this book and make us wonder what his next steps will be rather it is with Ivy, the sisters (Eva & Mercedes), or even his own organization IVI. Ivy is now pregnant with Santiago's child and knows this will change everything in her life. Ivy will do everything she can to protect her child including staying with her husband no matter what the future may now hold. She knows that her feelings for him will never change and that he may never return her feelings. The changes that these characters have made over these books are wonderful. Everyone has grown and changed which is what you want. But the feelings and storyline that you started with are still here. I could not put this book down and will reread this trilogy over and over again.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Santiago and Ivy) RESURRECTION OF THE HEART picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book two REPARATION OF SIN wherein Ivy, in an effort to protect her unborn child and her ailing father, runs from the man with whom she is falling in love, into the arms of a more dark and dangerous predator. Fighting for her life and the life of her child, Ivy struggles between head and heart, unable to trust the people claiming to want to keep her safe, or the people who continue to place her in the direct line of fire. But a new betrayal forces Ivy to reconsider her future, a future she may not live long enough to see to fruition. What ensues is the back and forth, acrimonious and tempestuous relationship between Ivy and Santiago, and the potential fall-out as sins from the past reveal a darker secret than anyone could have imagined. Santiago De La Rosa does not know how to love but something about Ivy begins to thaw his once frozen heart. RESURRECTION OF THE HEART is a story of betrayal and vengeance, revelations and acceptance, forgiveness and love. The premise is raw and twisted; the romance is intense and dramatic; the characters are flawed, edgy and tragic. RESURRECTION OF THE HEART is an emotional and startling conclusion to the Society Trilogy.
