About the author

Yip Fai was born in Hong Kong and worked in the news media for more than 30 years. He is co-founder of the poetry magazines Compass, Qiu Ying and Poetry Waves, and a writer and literary critic who has been actively involved in the publication of several literary magazines in Hong Kong since 1976. His first collection of poetry titled In-between: Day And Night was published in 2009 and his recent collection of literary criticism is titled Kairos: Body, Dwelling and Others (2010).
