About this eBook

WIKIPEDIA says: 'H.P. Lovecraft's reputation has grown tremendously over the decades, and he is now commonly regarded as one of the most important horror writers of the 20th century, exerting an influence that is widespread, though often indirect.' His tales of the tentacled Elder God Cthulhu and his pantheon of alien deities were initially written for the pulp magazines of the 1920s and '30s. These astonishing tales blend elements of horror, science fiction and cosmic terror that are as powerful today as they were when they were first published.

THE NECRONOMICON collects together the very best of Lovecraft's tales of terror, including the complete Cthulhu Mythos cycle, just the way they were originally published. It will introduce a whole new generation of readers to Lovecraft's fiction, as well as being a must-buy for those fans who want all his work in a single, definitive volume.

Image my disappointment when I read other reviews of this eBook and it turned out it wasn't the real Necronomicon. I've got some crazy lady in the basement, a chainsaw for a hand because my normal hand has gone insane, and zombie trees keep sexually assaulting my friends. I need the real book to drive the evil back into a time vortex where I will disappointingly join it to battle in Medieval times. Still, good price.

H.P . Lovecraft had an insight into the workings of the forces of the last globe which is the moon ,-which is now nothing but a rotting corps having some very strange and evil effects upon the human race. This globe we know as the moon was the Earths last incarnation ,and is full of many death essences which makes it a friend of the Necromancers and those of the ``Left Hand Path``. Lovecraft had a way of tapping into the astral memory of Earths rotting last incarnation ,which later made , and caused him to go insane. Finally He died screaming in a madhouse.!! May He be a warning to all who enter into the Black Arts. Peace be unto his shell!!.

The content of the book is really incredible, courtesy of H.P. Lovecraft... but the actual book itself contains a great deal of spelling errors, such as "Gthulu" and "Necroriomicon" which are, as I continue to read further into the book, just keep appearing in large numbers... I mean come on how do you misspell 'Necronomicon' in a book titled 'Necronomicon'? That's just plain bad.

About the author

Howard Philips Lovecraft (1890-1937) is probably the most important and influential author of supernatural fiction of the 20th century. A life-long resident of Providence, R.I., many of his tales are set in the fear-haunted towns of an imaginary area of Massachusetts, or in the cosmic vistas that exist beyond space and time. Since his untimely death, he has become acknowledged as a master of fantasy fiction, and a mainstream American writer second only to Edgar Allan Poe, while his relatively small body of work has influenced countless imitators and formed the basis of a world-wide industry of books, games and movies based on his concepts.
