Nell Finnemore is the non-crime writing alter-ego of award winning crime novelist Diane Janes, who is probably best known for her TV appearances as an expert on real-life historical murders. She spent her formative years in Birmingham and this provided the inspiration for her debut as Nell Finnemore.
