I hate this book so much, do not buy it, if your class requires it, find another class... no matter how nice the teacher is, this is one of the most poorly written books it will make you go insane.

Nelson P. Lande has been a member of the Philosophy Department at the University of Massachusetts Boston since 1979, where he teaches courses in logic, metalogic, and philosophy of logic.
