About this ebook

A criminologist out for justice.

A BAU agent desperate to save his career.

A dangerous path that can make them whole...or leave them in pieces.

FBI criminologist January Reese is on the hunt. A homicide victim robbed of one of her organs fits the motive behind two previous serial cases, and she senses a connection. But when her former partner—the ex who chose his job over her—is asked to consult on the case, January will do whatever it takes to ensure he can’t compromise her or this investigation.

Lincoln Dunn’s legendary career with the BAU is at risk. On probation with the unit, his only option is to solve this case ahead of January. But all too soon her insights, her compassion, and her determination to bring down a killer remind him of why he fell for her years ago. And threaten everything he’s set out to achieve.

As January and Lincoln unravel a puzzle of greed and desperation, they must rediscover the trust they once shared to stop this new brand of serial offender. Before the killer’s collection is complete.

Nichole Severn has quickly become one of my favourite authors, her plots are always imaginative and inventive, this is the third book in the "Hunting Grounds" series, all completely standalone. His side of the bed was empty, his suitcase gone, no message, no note, no response to text, January thought that they had it all, they were building a home and a life together until.......... January Reese was an FBI Criminologist working in Seattle when a job, that she deserved, came up in the prestigious BAU, Lincoln Dunn, her partner at work and in life took it from under her without her knowledge and now, one year later he was back, what was his motive ? January had made great strides in her department earning plaudits for helping catch two serial killers in a short time. When a particularly gruesome murder happened in here in Seattle Lincoln had volunteered to come back and help, but why ? Lincoln didn't do anything that wouldn't enhance his career, she was better than him and both he and she knew it so why had her boss allowed him to assist in this case ?. This story follows a series of brutal murders all with one distinct and very unusual element but what or who linked them together and why was Lincoln so desperate to be the one to solve the case. It was evident that the spark still burned brightly between January and Lincoln, the fact that he saved her life on more than one occasion made it even more confusing for January but she could see past his unyielding push to succeed in his career, she knew of his childhood, she needed to help him but would that be enough ? how would she cope if he left her again ? This is a fast paced book full of drama and intrigue brilliantly written. I received a free copy of this book and my review is voluntary.

Bits And Pieces is a phenomenal romantic suspense book by Nichole Severn. Ms. Severn has produced a well-written book. The characters are outstanding and make this a read you can't put down. January is an FBI agent that has just linked two female serial killers, now she wonders if there could be a third. Lincoln is January's ex that walked out on her without a word for his job. Lincoln and January's story is cover to cover suspense with doses of drama, humor, sizzle and action added. I loved reading this book and can't wait for my next book by Nichole Severn. Bits And Pieces is part of the Hunting Grounds Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved it! Such a full on action book that just never let go. Even the ending, grips to bring you into the next story. This was about January Reece an FBI agent with the CSU and her ex Lincoln comes back to town after escaping to take a job with the BAU and not relling her. There is a fair bit of animosity when Lincoln comes back but that is more because she doubts his proclaimed motives. So well written, I'd almost wonder if Nicole Severn had worked in these places as her knowledge is full. The characters fill in brilliantly and every step of the way, you are placed in the action. This really was a brilliant story that makes me excited to see what comes next! This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
