About the author

Michelle Brown lives in Portage, MI with her husband and two children. After earning her B.A. in English at Western Michigan University, she became a secondary English teacher, and she currently teaches high school English in a nearby school district. She went on to earn an M.A. at Western Michigan University and has tentative plans to pursue a doctorate in the future. When she's not writing, you can find her sipping on a cup of coffee, chasing around her two young children, developing projects for her students, or immersing herself in a new YA/middle grade novel. Her love of science fiction and deep interest in space led her to write her debut novel, "Tales of an Alien Invader". She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
