His research interests include the epidemiology and pathophysiology of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis and the role of vitamin D in musculoskeletal health. He is a Scientific Ambassador to the International Osteoporosis Foundation and a member of the MRC Clinical Trials Unit Steering Group.;Dr David J Hunter's research interests include the epidemiology and treatment of osteoarthritis.
