Andy Marshall finds himself at a crossroads in life.

About the author
Born in Plymouth in 1937, Nigel Springthorpe completed his National Service with the Far East Air Force in Singapore and Borneo, before returning to the Civil Service. He subsequently served in a number of executive positions, including Private Secretary to a Cabinet Minister.
