The purpose of reading a romantic book is to escape the reality of life and be swept up to a different world where romance exist and this book did not do it for me. There is no chemistry between the main characters, its like reading a boring life of an ordinary girl. Don't get me wrong, ordinary can also be romantic if the writer would color the story a little bit with rainbow romance to make it a bit interesting interesting. Its still a good read though, it just needs a little twist or emotions especially for the guy character

The writing was smooth, but it had all the action and suspense of a Bugs Bunny cartoon. The romance was, frankly, worse. I have more chemistry with my mailbox, and I never pick up my mail, than these two had in their "relationship". If you can call one hour of sex and a kiss a relationship. The intimate scenes were also lukewarm. Honestly, the fact that he spent less than an hour on their "one night stand" before he bolted, made their "relationship" that much more unbelievable. Nothing to write home about.

LOVED this book!! It's the perfect mix of suspense and romance without endless sex and cursing. I felt like I was living the story as I read it. Not only was it hard to put down I am hooked on the series.
