Each story in this series I grow more found of Captain Liz and her crew. I had forgotten how the last story had ended, so I had some confusion to start this one, but quickly the pieces fell back in place. Was definitely happy to see Kraken making another appearance and LOVE the latest character Coco! I am looking forward to learning more where Chloe is going to make her mark and where the gang ends up. As with the first two, this story is a short, fun read that will have you hoping for future "chapters."

Space Station Investigation is the book #3 in the Captain Liz Laika Adventures by NIkki Haverstock. Liz and her crew are undercover for the Fleet, trying to find black market Fleet equipment. Their first day there and Liz finds a Murder victim. I am a sci-fi fan and I love this series. The descriptions make it easy to picture the crowded parties, dark alleys, and the individuals on the outpost. There’s a lot going on with their mission and the murder and an unexpected surprise or two. It was great having the gang together and Eugene plays a big role in the story. I couldn’t put it down! I received an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

About the author

Nikki Haverstock is a writer who lives on a small ranch high in the Rocky Mountains. She has studied comedy writing at Second City and has published over twenty cozy, space and paranormal mysteries that are heavy on the humor.

Before fleeing the city, she hosted a competitive archery reality show, traveled the world to study volcanoes, taught archery and computer science at a university and worked on her family’s ranch herding cattle. Nikki has more college degrees than she has sense and hopefully one day she will put one to work.

Nikki likes to write comedy pieces that focus on the humor of family, friends and everyday life. She tried stand up but the cattle weren’t impressed.
