About this ebook

As a second generation detective, Nathan Carter is a cop, through and through, one who definitely sees things in black and white. But his work ethic—and libido—are thrown off balance when he heads up the case against jewel thief, Regan Malloy. Because with one sizzling look, she’s got him hot and hard. And he’s been that way, ever since.

Growing up, Regan’s favorite hobby was learning to crack safes, and she was very, very good at it. Still, she’d always tried to keep to the straight and narrow, and only strayed when she believed a friend was in desperate straits. Now she’s out of prison and starting over. If only she could forget that she’d spent the last three years fantasizing about the stunningly gorgeous detective who locked her away.

It’s inevitable that they meet up again—in bars, hotels...and hotel beds. Despite their differences, they can’t keep their hands off each other. Still, it’s just desire. If they give it enough time, it’ll burn itself out. Because a good boy and a bad girl can’t possibly make it work. Can they?

Each book in the Cutting Loose series is STANDALONE:

Loved this book!! The fast pace of the story was great and the fine line Nate and Regan walked was intriguing making it a fantastic good guy/bad girl story. A jewel thief and a cop are truly an unlikely couple but these two pull it off beautifully. He may have been the one that got her locked up but staying away from him just doesn't seem possible. Being with an ex-con could be career suicide for Detective Nate Carter but the pull to be with her makes all the risks worth it. This is one I think everyone would enjoy. I highly recommend it.

Loved this book! It's a fast paced contemporary romance that kept me turning pages just as quickly as possible. Nathan is a detective that arrested Regan several years ago for a diamond theft. She ends up serving three years before being released, then sees Nathan and they end up in bed together. One thing leads to another and they keep seeing each other, despite Regan's entire family being criminals.....Nathan's dad even arrested Regan's dad three times, so Regan knows he'll never approve of her dating Nathan. Add in Nathan's co-workers not approving of his consorting with a criminal and you have all the elements for a entertaining romance. Fans of the genre will love this novel! The author is on my must read authors' list and she should probably be on yours as well. This book is a must read.

We've been conditioned to see the world in a black or white format, but in truth we are surrounded by many shades of gray. Regan learned that lesson from the school of hard knocks. She lead with her heart, instead of her mind and ended up getting burned. Now seeking to redeem herself, she plans to start anew. With all the drama from her past she knows that will be hard to do. When her past ends of rearing it's head in the form of a sexy fantasy, will she risk more than her freedom this time and give her heart completely? A by the book cop, Nate is a man at a crossroads. The only family he has left is quickly slipping away. The job he's devoted most of his life to is getting harder everyday. When his fantasy women unwittingly walks back into his life, he just may be willing to risk it all. Could a wayward ex-con be the woman meant to be his Ms. Right? Falling for the Bad Girl is sensuous, moving and full of wise words and bad choices. Ms. Croft manages to create a sexy story with a powerful message. People are more than labels. We all make mistakes, it's the lesson we learn that make us the people we are.

About the author

Nina Croft was born in the north of England but headed south at the age of 18. She studied marine biology at London University before training to be a chartered accountant.

Having worked a number of years in London, the urge to head south hit again. This time it took her to Zambia, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Kariba, where she spent four years working as a volunteer. It left her with a love of the sun and a dislike of regular employment. Since then, Nina has a spent a number of years mixing travel, whenever possible, with work, whenever necessary.

After travelling extensively, Nina has now settled down to a life of writing and almond picking on a remote farm in southern Spain, between the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. She shares the farm with her husband, four dogs, a horse, two goats, three cats, a three-legged Vietnamese potbellied pig, and a handful of chickens.

Nina has loved reading all her life and fell in love with vampires after discovering Anne Rice at an early age. She likes to write all types of romance often with elements of the paranormal and science fiction.
