It's a very deep novel, and I really enjoyed how the author confronted the idea of such a hopeless situation, and how different people act as they lose sanity.

What was the point of the last 261 pages I've read? A great concept that just falls apart the deeper in you get. You are left with a handful of questions the author just decided not to answer, making everything I had read pretty much useless.
About the author
Adrian Barnes was born in Blackpool, England but moved to Canada in 1969. He teaches English at Selkirk College, British Columbia. He is married with two children. He received an MA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University and Nod is his first published novel.
