About this ebook

From bestselling romance Author Nora Ash comes this FREE steamy superhero romance featuring two primal, possessive heroes fighting over one (un)lucky human woman.

There are no such things as heroes.

I went out for coffee. I came back with a nemesis.

The city’s favorite hero, Lightning, saved me from getting gunned down, and I thought my luck was finally changing. Not only was I not dead; I also managed to snag an exclusive interview with the masked supe.

Only, instead of job stability and internet fame, I earned the attention of every dangerous criminal in the city.

The only thing that’ll save my life now is allowing Lightning to claim me as his pet. To offer my body in the hopes that he’ll protect me.

But the city has it wrong. He’s not one of the good guys. And submitting to his claim will bring another darkness from the shadows. A darkness whose only goal is to take anything his archenemy possesses.

Including me.

Into the Darkness is the FREE first installment in the spicy ménage serial Darkness.

For fans of Victoria Danann, I. T. Lucas, or Kelly St. Clare, this is a red-hot superhero romance with some dark themes.

Who gets a warning that they're a target and decides to walk in a questionable deserted area at night? And now at the end she's considering going somewhere that will have her getting home at night again? Her thought being that she still has to live and can't let them hinder her life or whatever. Yeah, I get that but you can choose smarter time of day to do investigative work!! That said I am going to read the next just to see where it goes. If she annoys me as much as she currently does then I'll stop.

A darn good start to this series as it piques curiosity and leaves you excited for what comes next. It is an intriguing, dirty read full of action, passion and lust. Kathryn meets meets Lightning, one of the local superhumans (aka “supes”) during an armed robbery in a coffee shop. Lightning is the revered superhero of St. Anthony and saves everyone during the robbery. After the rescue, Kathryn’s interview with Lightning leads her into writing an article in a bid to prove herself as a serious reporter/blogger. In the article, she questions Mayor Wilkins relationship with the superheroes and insinuates that there is corruption present. As curiosity gets the better of her, Kathryn decides to investigate further which leads her deeper into danger. Enter The Shade, where Lightning is the local hero, The Shade is the epitome of villain. The one is revered and the other feared. The only similarities being their glowing blue eyes denoting them as superhuman and that Kathryn becomes both their focal point. This book is well written and although edges towards being on the darker side, there is a hint of humour (very slight) which does lighten up things a bit. It is a short, fast, erotic read which is focussed around Kathryn. The final chapter is from The Shade’s POV which gives us a small glimpse that all is not as it seems. It ends in a cliff-hanger and I can’t wait to read what comes next. Thank goodness all the books in this series have now being released. I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Anyone up for coffee? While this is far from my first time reading this book, I like the new addition to the book! It was really unexpected but I love it, good job. The characters are well made and rounded, the heroin the touch of humanity that is needed for this superhero romance. I am pretty sure any lady would be in her predicament, with or without the consequences. Not only do I love the romance but I also love the dialog that comes into work, nothing is bland or just there to take up word space, it was all enjoying to read and I recommend this book to people who don't really like superhero drama, like me, I still liked the story line nonetheless. (I received a free copy of this book for my honest opinion and so here it is~)
