Organized into three sections, this book first discusses charged particle spectroscopy, which includes resonance reaction, reactions involving light ions, heavy-ion-induced reaction, and specialized reaction. The next section reviews spectroscopy from meson-induced reactions, including muonic and hadronic atoms; radiative capture; and charge exchange, scattering, and direct reactions. The final section discusses neutron spectroscopy, which includes advances in measurement of neutron spectra, charge exchange reactions, and polarization phenomena. This book is written to primarily benefit graduate students who are engaged in research that concerns nuclear spectroscopy.
