Mário de Sá-Carneiro nasceu em Lisboa em 19 de maio de 1890 e morreu em Paris em 26 de Abril de 1916, muito jovem portanto. Poeta, contista e ficcionista, destacou-se como um dos ícones do movimento modernista português, sendo membro da chamada Geração d'Orpheu.
