A report on the economic and fiscal consequences of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA; Public Law 111-148), signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010, and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (Public Law 111-152). This report shows that the health care law will achieve neither effect, and argues that the health care law will cause significant job losses for the U.S. economy.
