About the author

Amany Fawzy Elgamal is a professor of computer science at the Faculty of Specific Education, Mansoura University, Egypt, where she also obtained her master’s degree and PhD (from the Faculty of Engineering) and has held the positions of Head of Computer Teacher Department, Director of Computer Programming, and Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies. She has lectured on programming languages for almost 30 years. She has published many research papers and academic books on the subject of computer programming, and is a member of the editorial boards of several journals, including Computer and Information Science, the Journal of Education and Training and the Research Journal of Specific Education.
