The slavery of a nation under the club-kiss of religion and the liquidation of its natural resources into endless ground-sweeping robe pockets . The writings also show the struggle of the artists endeavoring to find his identity within this society distorted by so many contradictions . On one side of the book you have the Persian poetry and on the other side you have the English translations and poetry originally written in English .

Autoren-Profil

I was born in Abadan on 01/21/1970 on the Iran/Iraq border . The migration of our family to Tehran coincided with the Iran/Iraq war . I was raised in a bi-lingual home and was taught since my early days to think in two languages and to write in English or Persian in accordance to the relative necessity or depending on the how the relative inspiration descended . Since I was about twelve years old I started to write poetry . I am currently working on my first fictional English novel based on the structure of my true story and hope to conclude it , within it's complete entity within the coming months . The story has been revolving and evolving around my head and heart for more than ten years now . I am open to all suggestions and welcome criticism of all nature . [e-mail] Only having a few units remaining for achieving his masters in the field of English Literature in the Azad University of Tehran , Shahab was arrested and detained in solitary confinement for his social-political writings . Imprisoned , brutal methods of physical and psychological torture were conducted upon him . During the uprising of the green movement in 2009 he was arrested and detained again ....only this time he was r.... He has now fled Iran and is currently without country
