Public Law 113-79. H.R. 2642. The Agriculture Act of 2014, also known as the Farm Bill, was created to provide for the reform and continuation of agricultural and other programs of the Department of Agriculture through fiscal year 2018, and for other purposes. The Farm Bill is renewed about every five years and it provides the opportunity to address agricultural and food issues and governs many agricultural and food programs.
