This guide is not intended to teach you how to use SOLIDWORKS, but is written to provide you with CSWP exam tips, hints and information on sample questions and categories that are aligned with the exam. This guide is written to help you take and pass the CSWP exam.

The book is organized into three chapters. Each chapter is focused on a segment of the CSWP CORE exam. This is not intended to be a step-by-step book.

Goals of this book

The primary goal is not only to help you pass the CSWP CORE exam, but also to ensure that you understand and comprehend the concepts and implementation details of the process.

The second goal is to provide the most comprehensive coverage of CSWP CORE exam related topics available, without too much coverage of topics not on the exam.

The third and ultimate goal is to get you from where you are today to the point that you can confidently pass all three segments of the CSWP CORE exam.

Who this book is for

The intended audience for this book and the CSWP exam is a person who has passed the CSWA exam and who has eight or more months of SOLIDWORKS training and usage. However, passing the CSWA exam is not a prerequisite for taking the CSWP exam if you are a commercial user in industry. For students that take the CSWP exam through their school, you must first pass the CSWA exam.
