Autoren-Profil

British filmmaker Jonathan Chance began his career as one-half of acclaimed guerrilla film production company Chance Encounters. With his brother Richard, Jonathan followed their first feature The Veil with nominated shorts Chainmail and The Day I Tried to Live, which took the 2008 Action on Film International Film Festival (AOF) Special Jury Prize. In 2009, their feature script, The Waiting Room, was nominated for "Best Horror Screenplay." Jonathan found personal success in a lifelong fascination with Borley Rectory resulting in the "Best Nominated Screenplay" at Shriekfest which is being adapted into a new vision of horror titled The Rectory. In 2019 Jonathan branched his creativity and ambition into a new realm and medium in the form of a Graphic Horror Novel Anthology. Never By Night: Disturbing Passages into the Unknown; a showcase piece containing four stories including a teaser prequel storyline to The Rectory. The ongoing book's mission is to intricately champion industry talent and talented newcomers alike in its pages and of 2020, NBN Volume 2 is in the works as Jonathan also completes a epic fantasy Kaiju one-shot to be released titled "The Boy who Conquered the Mountain".
