The inconsistencies are starting to add up and frustrate me, so my rating has slowly dropped from 5 stars for volume 1 to 3 stars here. I'm also getting pretty tired of the cheap character building: "let's give them a nickname in their old life that justifies their current reincarnation, but that nickname will be literally what their reincarnation is" *eyeroll* I'm hoping these things will stop in future books, but I'm not super optimistic.

I was excited to see White being back on the weak side of things, her struggles in the beginning were what really hooked me in this series to begin with, especially since in the web novel she immediately is proficient with her godly powers, this way feels more realistic/logical. I was happy to see the Oni had his introduction spruced up a bit which it needed, though I hope to see the graphic scene that awoke his anger/rage skills in explicit detail again, in this novel it's only hinted at.

So as the story advanced the main character losses all the power she amassed so far, I'm split on the matter since I thought it was a bit ridiculous how strong she had gotten, but now she doesn't have anything, and what bothers me is that it highlighted that besides her power she was bland, uncommunicative and whinny, would like her to grow as a character, after several volumes it's quite infuriating that she still can't have a proper conversation.
