About the author
Olaf Stapledon (Poulton-cum-Seacombe 1886 – Caldy 1950), scrittore e filosofo britannico, con le sue opere letterarie ha contribuito in maniera determinante allo sviluppo del genere fantascientifico nel Novecento. Tra i suoi scritti più noti ricordiamo Infinito (1930) e Il costruttore di stelle (1937).
