About this ebook

A guide for parents looking for balanced information about vaccinations. While not afraid to be vaccination-critical, sometimes strongly so, the book presents data both positive and negative about vaccinations, sourced from official bodies and peer-reviewed journal articles. Each Disease Chapter examines how effective vaccinations have been and what the risk from the disease is. The Vaccine Chapters analyse the safety and efficacy of each vaccine used in the UK. The USA and other English-speaking countries use different vaccines but most of the data is transferable and applicable internationally. If you are a parent looking for balanced information about vaccinations, this ebook is for you.

Well balanced, thoroughly researched and sufficiently objective to be reliable. Rather than try and draw unsubstantiated correlations between illnesses and vaccinations (like many quacks), this book simply reports the statistics with appropriate caveats. Most impressively, this book bottoms out the clinical trials and studies (where available) intended to support the effectiveness of vaccinations. In addition, it provides information about the incidents rates of various diseases prior to the introduction of vaccinations, which really does put their effectiveness into perspective. This was extremely helpful in enabling me to make my decision as to whether to vaccinate my son. Oliver Muller is to be applauded for spending what must of have been, a substantial period of time conducting the necessary research to write this book, then compiling it into a concise, relatively easy to read narrative.
