About this ebook

Oliver, a teenage hacker living in Germany, meets Donna online. She's an American girl living in New York. After chatting and talking on the phone for months, he finally decides to surprise her with a visit. But he soon finds out that things are not what they appeared to be, and that this visit will change his life forever.

Events in Oliver's life become increasingly bizarre. As his life spirals more and more out of control, Oliver gets sucked deeper and deeper into the dark world of drug addiction and prostitution.

Oliver's Strange Journey is not just a dark comedy and coming-of-age novel, but also a psychological thriller based on incredible true events.

"Oliver's writing style matches the content - visceral, raw, real and extremely fluent in describing the life of codependency that is at the core of the story. At times tough to read because of the content, the book is at all times mesmerizing."

-Grady Harp, Amazon Hall of Fame Top 100 Reviewer, Vine Voice

"Based on true events, Oliver Markus held nothing back in this rags-to-riches-to-drugs-and-codependency novel. Realism, candid thinking, and originality of voice make this one uniquely different than anything I've read in several years."

-Frank Scozzari, Amazon Review

"I couldn't stop reading it. I love the author's voice. Oliver is a very likeable character, even though he is a flawed hero. Maybe even an anti-hero. But you can't help but root for him."

-Lacy Farell, Amazon Review

"Oliver's Strange Journey is exactly that... one long strange trip. Ride along! You won't be disappointed."

-Dan Glover, Amazon Review

Absolutely awesome book, Oliver is brutally honest, and at times had me in fits of laughter. Really well written and easily one of the best books I have read from the Google play store. Can't wait to read the follow up.

Interesting life, that's always a good read but I can't help but wonder why you keep going back to the women that live that lifestyle. But regardless I liked reading it.

It's a great read, I'm studying human services in school and this was a page Turner. I'm totally getting the sequel open now!
