Absolutely fabulous! There are no other words to describe how amazing this book is! This book focuses on Alex and Eve, whom we know from previous books, were married, but are now divorced. However, they still have a BDSM relationship, but it still isn't what it should be. This book explains all of that, and takes us into their story. Alex and Eve were blissfully happy, until a tragic, horrific incident put a wedge between them that eventually tore them apart. But neither one could really let go, so they were really in limbo. Alex is really obsessed with revenge on the person that caused everything, and that isn't making anything better between them. Eve retreats into herself, and is unable to take back her life. This all changes when a tip comes in, and someone leads them in a new direction. Alex and Eve's relationship brings out so many emotions. Happiness, then horror, then deep sadness. They go through something that would destroy even the strongest person, and in the end, their relationship is even stronger than it was to begin with. Alex is everything that Eve needs, he just let himself forget for awhile. This was a simply amazing story. There was so much action, so much drama, that I just couldn't put it down. And that ending! I won't spoil the surprise, but I will say I can't wait to read the next book!

I love those book. Could not put it down! The characters really called out to me.

Really loved the book. I am so happy Alex and Eve finally got back together. Highly recommend this series.

About the author
