About this ebook

Her worst fears come true...

After her father's death, Elizabeth Bennet goes to work as a governess. Little does she know the Willstones are social acquaintances of the Bingleys and the Darcys, and Elizabeth finds herself once again drawn into Mr. Darcy's orbit. To make matters worse, Mrs. Willstone's sister sets her sights on Mr. Darcy. With Elizabeth's social status even lower than it was before, she knows she must abandon all hope of Darcy renewing his proposals, even as she begins to see him in a completely different light...

Praise for Darcy's Voyage

"Refreshing... a tale of romance, intrigue, and adventure...that made me sigh in all the right places and laugh out loud at the most surprising moments." —Austenprose

I really really like how this author was able to tell the, What If, about this Darcy and Elizabeth. It gave more to think about and see in your minds eye. Very intertaining and enjoyable to read!

Refreshening good reading! It is written with a respectful regard for the way Jane Austen wrote Pride and Prejudice's captivating characters including the answers to the what its that arise in many reader's minds.

Even though it wasn't written in JA's style, I believe it was for the best. The author's style is very delightful to read and the story I was originally very hesitant to read turned out to be one of the best P&P inspired novels I've read!

About the author

Kara Louise grew up in the San Fernando Valley and moved to the midwest in 1991, where she enjoys the relaxed pace of the country. She began writing about 9 years ago, first with a story inspired by her genealogical research. But that took a back seat when she discovered the writings of Jane Austen. She has written 6 novels based on Pride and Prejudice, answering the "what happened next" and the "what ifs" in Elizabeth's and Darcy's story. She lives with her husband outside Wichita, Kansas.
