Only for You is the second book in Barb Curtis’s Sapphire Springs Series. This book reminded me of a Hallmark Movie, perfect setting, small town, sweet romance, and loveable characters. It’s just the kind of book that makes you happy. Emily Holland runs a bakery in the idyllic town of Sapphire Springs and has a secret crush on her best friend Tim Fraser ever since high school. Both Emily and Tim are town council members and have worked together on many town projects and festivals. When Tim’s girlfriend goes on a reality television show, and breaks up with Tim publicly, the fans of the show swarm into Sapphire Springs, and makes life for Tim very uncomfortable. When Tim proposes to Emily to forge a fake romantic relationship in order to get rid of the swarm of fans that are making his life miserable, Emily cannot refuse. As they spend time faking it, they learn that something more than friendship can be real. The town of Sapphire Springs is full of quirky small-town characters and provides a fun backdrop to this sweet romance. Emily and Tim are both well-developed characters with their own baggage they have to deal with in order to fall in love. The book is a nice quick read, without any dragging parts. The book is the second in the Sapphire Springs series and although this book is a stand-alone book, I think it’s better to read them in order as I missed some of the drama of the other characters. So, I will go back and read the first book. I thought the author did an excellent job of describing the town, and the other characters. I felt part of the town and the festival. I recommend this book to anyone interested in a small-town sweet romance. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

In the second addition to the Sapphire Springs series, we get the story of Tim and Emily. Emily has loved Tim for years, but he’s only ever thought of her as a friend. When he goes viral due his association with the Behind Closed Doors reality show, he comes up with the plan to get a fake girlfriend. Emily is his first thought. Grab your copy and see what happens while they’re trying to convince everyone that they’re a real couple. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley and this is my voluntary and honest review.

After his girlfriend breaks up with him on reality TV, Tim swears off love. Except that suddenly, female fans of the show are coming out of the woodwork hoping to mend his broken heart. In desperation, he asks his friend Emily to pose as his girlfriend until his fifteen minutes of fame are over. Emily has been in love with Tim since high school, unbeknownst to him. Pretending to be his girlfriend is a heartbreaking and mortifying prospect. But she needs a huge favor from him, and so agrees as part of the bargain. Now that they're thrust together in romantic situations, will Tim's affection for her turn to love? This book is a small-town romance with a bit of a rom com tone. It's smart and fun and heartfelt. Tim and Emily are relatable, grown-up characters, and it was a pleasure to read their story. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
