Qiang Xu is a Senior lecturer at the School of Computing and Engineering in The University of Huddersfield, UK. His research activities cover computational modeling. Previously, Dr Xu was Senior Lecturer in the School of Science and Engineering at Teesside University from 2006 to 2013. In this role, Dr Xu supervised a number of PhD research projects and completed over 15 consultancy and grant applications. Dr Xu was Visiting Professor at the Northwest Polytechnic University, China from 2007 to 2012 and co-editor of two conference proceedings, key note speakers, regular reviewer for several internal journals (reviewed over 70 papers), and several internal conference committee member; and has published more than 70 papers.
