About this ebook

Stunning, hotheaded Asuka Langley Soryu has been friends with Shinji Ikari since they were little. And she always sort of assumed they'd stay together-until the day the beautiful, brilliant Rei Ayanami showed up in class! When Shinji starts to get curious about Rei, Asuka needs to figure out if she wants to be just friends with Shinji, or something more. But why are so many people keeping an eye on these relationships-people like homeroom teacher Misato, school nurse Ritsuko, and Shinji's mother-NERV's chief scientist, Yui Ikari...?

Goes against everything Neon Genesis Evangelion stands for. Remember that one ~7 minute sequence near the end of ep. 26 that was mocking safe, pandering slice of life? Y'know, the one where Shinji and Asuka are close childhood friends, and Rei is this hyper new transfer student and it was really uncomfortable to watch after seeing so many horrible things happen to these kids over the course of 24 episodes? That's this. Except it's real, and you have to pay for it. This is my own personal hell.

If you've seen all the anime and movies and you still want more this is a fun read. Will definitely buy the next volume.
