Michele M. Burlew designs and programs SAS applications for data management, data analysis, report writing, and graphics for academic and corporate clients. A SAS user since 1980, she has expertise in many SAS products and operating systems. Burlew is the author of seven SAS Press books: SAS Hash Object Programming Made Easy; Combining and Modifying SAS Data Sets: Examples, Second Edition; Output Delivery System: The Basics and Beyond (coauthor); SAS Guide to Report Writing: Examples, Second Edition; SAS Macro Programming Made Easy, Third Edition; Debugging SAS Programs: A Handbook of Tools and Techniques; and Reading External Data Files Using SAS: Examples Handbook.
Lauren Haworth, an applications developer based in San Francisco, has over a decade of experience with the SAS System. She has been using the Output Delivery System since the first beta version was released in 1998. As the author of the popular SAS programming book, PROC TABULATE by Example, Lauren brings expert writing and programming skills to her newest SAS book.
Cynthia Zender has been with SAS since 1996 as an instructor and course developer. She currently serves as the Curriculum Manager for the Report Writing and Output Delivery System curriculum. Cynthia is a frequent speaker at SAS Global Forum and at regional SAS user groups. She is working on an "SG" procedure graphics course, as well as a SAS/Graph course. Cynthia is a SAS Certified Professional, with over 25 years of experience programming and reporting with SAS. Prior to joining SAS, she worked with a variety of industries (including education, public utilities, and telecom), using SAS for application development and report writing.
