DINKAR JOSHI IS A GUJARATI LANGUAGE AUTHOR FROM INDIA. HE HAS WRITTEN MORE THAN 160 BOOKS INCLUDING NOVELS, SHORT STORY COLLECTIONS, ESSAY COLLECTIONS AND COLUMNS.

SMITA BHAGWAT WAS BORN AND EDUCATED IN BARODA, GUJARAT (OFTEN LOVINGLY REFERRED TO AS PUNE OF GUJARAT), INDIA. OVER THE PAST SEVERAL DECADES, HER WORK HAS BEEN PUBLISHED IN LEADING MARATHI, GUJARATI, HINDI AND ENGLISH JOURNALS. MORE THAN THIRTY OF HER BOOKS ARE PUBLISHED IN GUJARATI ALONE. SHE WAS DISTINGUISHED AS A PROMISING NOVELIST OF THE 1990S BY THE GUJARATI SAHITYA PARISHAD (GUJARATI LITERATURE COUNCIL).
