About this ebook

From USA Today Bestselling Author, P.D. Workman!

Natural Causes

Private Investigator Zachary Goldman took on the case as a favor to his ex-wife, Bridget. It should have been cut and dried. But the deeper he looks into the death of cancer patient Robin Salter, the more convinced Zachary becomes that Bridget’s suspicions were correct. Bridget is determined to discover what happened to her friend… and what was thought to be death by natural causes becomes an active police investigation.

No one else wants Zachary involved in the investigation, not the police, Robin Salter’s family, or her boyfriend. No one but Bridget. What does it really matter, when Robin was dying anyway? Facing a wall of silence, Zachary digs into Robin’s past, determined to find the truth.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ms Workman has again created characters with depth, feeling and realism. She has given a true look into the heart of patients who become dependent on those who provide care and how this can be a positive thing, but also a frightening, negative thing. As always with Ms. Workman's stories, there are plenty of twists and turns; some I saw coming; quite a few I did not. I am really looking forward to the next installment

Zachary Goldman, Private Investigator, is flawed with a capital F. Shattered by the tragedies of his own life, he will somehow still manage to pick himself up and dig just a little bit deeper than anyone else to find the vital clues.

Maybe being broken makes it easier for others who have faced tragedy to trust him. Walk with Zachary as he solves cases that will stretch his abilities to the limit.

Even with his own life in shambles, Zachary Goldman is still the one you want on the case.

I have requested a refund as I have the same problem as the other user. "She Was Dying Anyway" has the same content as previous book "His Hand Were Quiet". VERY FRUSTRATING.

I purchased and downloaded books 2 and 3 as a bundle. I just finished reading e-book 2 (his hands were quiet) and moved on to e-book 3 (she was dying anyway) only to notice that the contents of e-book 3 are the same as e-book 2. I removed the download from my library and downloaded it again but no success. Both e-books are book 2, only the cover differs. I purchased both as a bundle but really only got one. Tried Google Play chat but it is impossible to get someone on the other side. There should be an easy way to report issues with a downloaded file or to request a refund. This is unacceptable, disappointing. TL. Update (Jan 3rd, 2022): Book 3 is fixed. I just thought to check back, removed it from my library and download it once again, and now I have the correct copy. It would've been helpful to receive an alert of some sort that the issue had been fixed. If it hadn't just occurred to me to check once again, I would probably never know Book 3 file had been repaired.
